We hold our own Deferment account and can assist clients without their own facility to pay VAT and Duties to HMRC.

Following Brexit importers bringing goods in from EU countries are now required to make full customs declarations, let Bounty Freight assist you in dealing with these new requirements.
GVMS Started in January 2022 adding additional restrictions to moving goods between the EU and UK, we can help you in getting setup and assist you with all the new requirements.

From January 1st 2022 full import controls have be implemented by GB Customs, as part of these new requirements a system known as GVMS (Goods Vehicle Movement Service) is now operational. This system requires every commercial vehicle traveling between the EU and GB to have a GMR (Goods Movement Reference) this is for for both Imports and Exports and for most RORO ports.
Also under GVMS all customs declarations need to be submitted against the GMR, this is either the Customs Declaration Number or Transit MRN number.
The responsibility for creating the GMR lies with hauliers, you can register for this and complete yourself however some hauliers will prefer to use the services of a customs agent / broker to perform this task for them. We at Bounty Freight are registered and can ese the process by creating with GVMS records for you, get in touch for more details.
From 1 January 2022, businesses importing Products of Animal Origin (POAO), animal by-products (ABP) and high-risk food and feed not of animal origin (HRFNAO) must pre-notify consignments at least four hours in advance of arriving in Great Britain. The pre-notification must be made via the Import of Products, Animals, Food and Feed System IPAFFS.
Importers can register and complete the IPAFFS and complete these notifications themselves however some prefer to use the services of a customs agent / broker to perform the task for them. We at Bounty Freight are registered for IPAFFS and can complete these notifications for you, get in touch for more details.
